The title element is where you provide a name for your web project and denote it in the HTML document.
Things you should know; you need to give your HTML project a name (it's a must). The title element is what is displayed as the name of the web page in search engine results...so having no title will not only result in a broken page but a page that won't be cataloged in search engines. Lastly, the title element is what is displayed on the browser tab for that web page.
how we do...
Alrighty, you're first going to start off in the head section of your HTML document.
In-between, the head element, we are going to place our title element.
<head> <title>Insert Title Here!!!!</title> </head>
Now, there are rules to this. If you are giving a title to your main page, go ahead and enter the title of your website, or you can just give it the title of the main page, either/or. However, if you are giving a title to an ancillary page, like a contact or about me page, give the HTML page the appropriate title.
<head> <title>Singed Phoenix</title> </head>
<head> <title>Contact</title> </head>
